This gown, inspired by nyokittos and Rococo era fashion, incorporates this pattern-making technique to produce a modern bustle structure. I wanted to create something dramatic, yet playful: a gown that was elegant but also didn’t take itself too seriously. These ideas led me to add two nyokittos that fell at the lower hips of the gown and enhance the natural shape of the female figure.
