This blouse was developed as an eco-conscious project, using one yard of undyed silk chiffon that could not be wasted. The chiffon was dyed using a using a resist-dye method. Then, I draped the material on the form, producing many iterations. I finally landed on the phidian-drapery inspired blouse: something elegant, referential, and yet fresh. Finally, I used a wet-felting process to add embellishments to the hem of the garment.
